SPACEX stated that the company is collaborating with NVIDIA to jointly develop the "Starmind AI1" satellite computing payload. Each Starmind satellite will be equipped with NVIDIA's Rubin GPU and Vera CPU to achieve data center-level space computing capabilities. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang publicly named who the winner of the AI race is. It is not OpenAI, not Anthropic, and not Google, but Elon Musk. His reasoning is not based on personal character, but on the infrastructure's "computational power mathematics": Tesla's AI factory is equipped with a vast amount of NVIDIA hardware, and Tesla's fleet is the largest real-world data collection system on Earth. Musk controls the "three most important fields of AI" that Huang mentioned: xAI (basic cognitive intelligence), Tesla (autonomous vehicles), and the Optimus humanoid robot. Huang also said, "The cost of collecting real-world data is extremely high. And Elon has a tremendous advantage."
