The frequency of attacks on oil refineries has decreased, and Russian oil flows have fallen to a seven-week low.

Due to the temporary shift of targets in Ukrainian drone attacks, pressure on Russian refineries has eased somewhat, but overseas crude oil shipments have declined; however, in the coming weeks, once attacks on refining facilities resume, the country's crude oil exports may rise again. Data compiled by the media on tanker transportation shows that in the four weeks ending August 2, Russian crude oil exports fell to 3.9 million barrels per day, dropping below the 4 million barrels mark for the first time in six weeks. In late July, Kyiv shifted to attacking tankers in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov, as well as warehouses in western Russia, allowing Russian refineries a brief respite to conduct maintenance and increase processing loads in recent weeks.
