Demand for Japan's 10-year government bonds auction is weak.
On the 4th, Japan's Ministry of Finance implemented a 10-year government bond auction with demand falling below market expectations. The bid-to-cover ratio, which reflects the strength of market demand, dropped to 2.56 times, a new low since May 2025. Affected by the auction results, Japan's 10-year government bond yield briefly rose to 2.870% during the trading session, reaching a one-month high.
