Chinese peacekeeping troops have passed the United Nations military capabilities assessment with high standards.
Recently, the 24th batch of China's multifunctional engineering battalion, construction engineering battalion, and medical team dispatched to Lebanon successively underwent military capability assessments by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) command. They passed the first comprehensive capability evaluation after the deployment to the mission area with high standards. A specialized evaluation team composed of key personnel from seven functional departments of the UNIFIL command conducted a thorough inspection and evaluation of each team. Their assessment methods included listening to work briefings, reviewing software documentation, conducting random inquiries, and on-site inspections, to comprehensively test the units' operational capabilities. After stringent and detailed verification, the evaluation team determined that all assessment indicators of the three teams met the standards, confirming their capability to perform the tasks assigned by the United Nations, and they highly affirmed our achievements.
