The 24th batch of China's peacekeeping forces to Lebanon successfully passed the capability assessment with high standards.

Recently, the 24th batch of China's multifunctional engineering troops, construction troops, and medical teams dispatched to Lebanon have successively undergone military capability assessments by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) command. This assessment is divided into two major categories: functions and missions, with detailed and stringent evaluation standards covering all aspects of duty performance. Since the full deployment of personnel in December 2025, under the unified command of the peacekeeping headquarters, the three teams have each fulfilled their roles and collaborated to overcome challenges. They have cleared and disposed of landmines in an area of 825 square meters, destroyed 146 landmines, marked 27 unexploded ordnance, completed 18 annual tasks including road repairs and infrastructure in the mission area, carried out 75 temporary tasks, received over 1,900 visits from peacekeeping allied forces and local residents, and regularly conducted humanitarian clinics to provide medical services to the local population.
