The State Administration for Market Regulation: Beijing, Shanghai, and 20 other locations designated as national pilot areas for the protection of trade secrets innovation.

The General Office of the State Administration for Market Regulation has issued a notice on promoting typical experiences and practices for the national commercial secret protection innovation pilot. Among them, Haidian District and Tongzhou District of Beijing, Binhai High-tech Zone of Tianjin, Pudong New Area and Fengxian District of Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuxi, and Suzhou in Jiangsu Province, Hangzhou, Ningbo, and Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province, Hefei in Anhui Province, Heping District in Xiamen, Fujian Province, Wuhan in Hubei Province, Changsha in Hunan Province, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Foshan in Guangdong Province, Jiangjin District of Chongqing City, and Wuhou District of Chengdu in Sichuan Province have been identified as the first batch of national commercial secret protection innovation pilots.
