Utilization rate of about 90%: The focus of new energy development shifts to consumption.

Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration jointly issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Construction of a New Power System," which states that by 2030, a preliminary new power system will be established, with the proportion of non-fossil energy power generation reaching 50%; the national utilization rate of new energy will remain around 90%. "The core of the 'Plan' is to prioritize the consumption of new energy," said Peng Peng, Secretary General of the China New Energy Power Investment and Financing Alliance, in an interview. The 'Plan' aims to release investment space for new energy by adjusting the utilization control standards; at the same time, the focus of new energy development is shifting completely from the power supply side to the electricity consumption side, encouraging the layout of energy storage, virtual power plants, and other entities on the consumption side to ensure absorption. From the perspective of industrial opportunities, the 'Plan' is expected to further release development momentum for industries such as ultra-high voltage main grid investments, distribution network investments, energy storage industrial chains, electricity trading, and virtual power plants.
