Survey: Over 80% of U.S. financial executives believe AI skills are more valuable than an MBA.

In the era of artificial intelligence, corporate executives are re-evaluating the value of an MBA. A survey conducted by the consulting firm PwC among over 1,000 executives in the U.S. financial services industry shows that approximately 86% of respondents believe that for many new employees, the value of AI training surpasses that of an MBA degree, reflecting a pressing need for companies to effectively utilize AI technology. The survey, released on Monday, also indicates that companies are willing to pay higher salaries for AI skills. Ninety-one percent of surveyed executives stated they are increasing compensation for employees with AI skills.
