Recently, the Ministry of Finance, in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Water Resources, allocated 2.154 billion yuan for agricultural disaster prevention and reduction as well as water rescue efforts. First, this funding supports six provinces, including Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Chongqing, and Guizhou, in conducting post-disaster relief work such as repairing water conservancy infrastructure damage caused by floods and earthquakes, helping to ensure the safe operation of water projects. Second, it supports five provinces, including Liaoning, Jilin, Zhejiang, Guangxi, and Hubei, in carrying out disaster recovery work, including nutrient and water management for crops in the fields, replanting in areas with complete crop failure, replenishing livestock and aquaculture stock, and repairing damaged facilities. Third, it assists three provinces, Shanxi, Xinjiang, and Gansu, in timely efforts for replanting crops and restocking livestock post-disaster after floods, winds, and hail, accelerating the recovery of agricultural production. Fourth, focusing on the coordination of prevention and relief, it supports 13 provinces, including Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Xinjiang, and Sichuan, as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group, in implementing measures such as spraying autumn grain disaster prevention initiatives, aiding in the harvest of autumn grain and achieving a bumper harvest for the entire year.
