Two departments: Promote the integrated development of electricity and transportation.

The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration have issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Construction of a New-Type Power System." The plan proposed to promote the sharing of resources such as channels, utility tunnels, and poles between the electric power and transportation infrastructure, develop new energy based on surrounding land, optimize the allocation of flexible resources, and coordinate the layout of the transmission network. It aims to orderly promote the electrification and low-carbon transformation of transportation and to develop shore power systems and port microgrids relying on new energy.
