On August 3, the Supreme People's Court released a typical case regarding the regulation of platform operations and the protection of consumers' legitimate rights and interests, which disclosed for the first time the judgment result of the Jiangxiaobai lawsuit against Dongfang Zhenxuan that occurred two years ago. The disclosed case shows that the court ultimately determined that a certain preferred company committed commercial defamation and ordered it to compensate a certain liquor company in Chongqing for economic losses and reasonable expenses totaling 300,000 yuan. After the first-instance judgment, neither party appealed.
