In response to the rainfall, Shaanxi Province has added 8,130 households and 18,063 people for relocation and safety measures.

According to the Shaanxi Provincial Emergency Management Department, from 6:00 on August 2 to 6:00 on August 3, heavy to torrential rain occurred in the central and southern parts of northern Shaanxi, most of Guanzhong, and most of southern Shaanxi, with Yichuan, Foping, Hanbin, Ziyang, Xunyang, Shanyang, and Zhen'an counties experiencing torrential downpours. From 6:00 on July 30 to 6:00 on August 3, a total of 36,612 households and 87,987 people were organized to evacuate for safety in Shaanxi Province. Among them, from 6:00 on August 2 to 6:00 on August 3, 8,130 households and 18,063 people were newly evacuated for safety in Shaanxi Province.
