Xi'an's automobile consumption subsidy policy has been upgraded, with subsidies available for both new and used cars.

According to "Xi'an Release," starting from August 1, the automobile consumption subsidy policy in Xi'an has been upgraded. Individual consumers purchasing new energy passenger vehicles included in the "Catalog of New Energy Vehicles Eligible for Vehicle Purchase Tax Exemption" will receive a subsidy of 2% of the purchase invoice price, with a maximum subsidy of 10,000 yuan. For consumers purchasing new energy vehicle models that are newly released in 2026: for those with an invoice price between 90,000 yuan and 150,000 yuan, an additional subsidy of 2,000 yuan will be granted; for those with an invoice price above 150,000 yuan, an additional subsidy of 3,000 yuan will be granted. Individual consumers purchasing used passenger cars will receive a subsidy of 1.5% of the purchase invoice price, with a maximum subsidy of 4,000 yuan. This automobile consumption subsidy policy will be implemented from August 1, 2026, until October 8, 2026. The subsidy for new energy vehicles purchased will be based on the date of the purchase invoice or the date of the order confirmation, and will cease once the subsidy funds are exhausted.
