In the first half of the year, MOFCOM's average disputed amount of cases increased by 25.3% year-on-year.

At the symposium held today to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, journalists learned that in the first half of this year, the Commission accepted 38 cases involving disputes between foreign parties, with a total dispute amount of 14.72 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 356%. At the same time, the average dispute amount of cases accepted in the first half of the year increased by 25.3% year-on-year, reflecting that the Commission is becoming the preferred institution for high-value and complex commercial disputes, which will further promote the construction of China as a preferred location for resolving international commercial disputes.
