Announcement of the Changeover and Expansion Results of the China-International Renewable Energy Agency Special Cooperation Working Group.
The State Energy Administration announced that in order to deepen practical cooperation between China and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), in March 2026, the State Energy Administration issued a notice to announce the rotation of the first batch of five special working groups under the China-IRENA "1+1+N" cooperation mechanism, including energy transition, hydropower, solar energy, hydrogen energy, and grid, and added three new special working groups for energy storage, wind power, education, and youth. The new members for the next term are being openly solicited from the society. After independent application, negotiation, and selection, the list of new members for the next term is now published, with a term of 3 years for each group leader starting from the date of publication.
