On July 24, the State Council's investigation and assessment team for the "76" dam collapse disaster at the Six-Lan Reservoir in Hengzhou City, Nanning, Guangxi held its first plenary meeting in Nanning, Guangxi. On July 6, the dam at the Six-Lan Reservoir in Hengzhou City, Nanning, Guangxi collapsed, resulting in major casualties and injuries. According to relevant national laws and regulations, the State Council established an investigation and assessment team, led by the Ministry of Emergency Management, with the participation of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transportation, the China Meteorological Administration, the National Energy Administration, the National Fire and Rescue Bureau, and the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, to conduct an investigation and assessment of the "76" dam collapse disaster at the Six-Lan Reservoir in Hengzhou City, Nanning, Guangxi.
