Zhaopin: In the second quarter, automotive design/manufacturing engineers lead the career rankings with a 40% increase in recruitment.
On July 23rd, Zhaopin released the "2026 Second Quarter Talent Market Highlights Report", which showed that the number of recruiting enterprises in the second quarter increased by 8.5% year-on-year, with the growth rate rising. Industries such as robotics, new materials, and AI, as new productive forces, still maintained a high growth rate in recruitment. The pet, elderly care, and beauty health care industries are the growth points for job creation in the service industry. Among them, the pet service sector had the fastest growth in the number of positions, at 43.2%; the silver hair economy has led to a growing demand for nursing talents, with a 30% year-on-year increase in demand for caregivers; 80% of the recruitment positions in the pet, elderly care, and beauty health care industries are located in second-tier cities and above. In addition, there is a growing demand for technical talents in industries such as automotive design/manufacturing, artificial intelligence, chips, and pharmaceutical research and development, and there is a talent gap. Among AI engineers, there is a significant shortage of intelligent driving system engineers, with a demand-supply ratio of 3.41; among chip engineers, IC design talents are the most in demand, with a demand-supply ratio of 4.46; automotive design/manufacturing engineers had a 40% recruitment growth rate leading the professional rankings, and talents in multiple links of the automotive industry are facing shortages.
