Shanxi strengthens the construction of non-coal mining infrastructure.

According to Shanxi Daily, recently, Shanxi Province Emergency Management Department, Provincial Department of Natural Resources, and the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau Shanxi Office jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of Non-coal Mine Infrastructure to Promote High-quality Development." In terms of mining operations, the "Guiding Opinions" require the comprehensive promotion of mechanized equipment such as rock drilling jumbos, explosive loading jumbos, and shuttle cars for new underground mines, and encourage the use of equipment such as full-face tunneling machines to achieve continuous operations. Open-pit mines are equipped with down-the-hole drills, large excavators, and mining trucks as standard, promoting unmanned operations in stripping, transportation, and waste disposal processes. Existing mines will gradually upgrade mining, transportation, and monitoring equipment based on resource conditions and service life, fully enhancing the level of mechanized mining.
