Nvidia (NVDA.O) and the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in the United States announced on Wednesday that the artificial intelligence chip giant has donated a supercomputer with its latest chip to a non-profit organization affiliated with the school. Nvidia and NPS did not disclose the specific size of the system, but confirmed that the system has been installed on the NPS campus in Monterey, California. Admiral Samuel J. Paparo, commander of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang plan to hold an event there to officially announce the activation of the system.
