On July 22, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a symposium on the establishment of national demonstration zones for new industrialization in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. The meeting pointed out that cities involved in the creation of these zones should adhere to innovation-driven development, strengthen independent innovation led by enterprises, build a high-level industrial innovation platform system, promote efficient transfer and transformation of innovation results, and take the lead in making new breakthroughs in the construction of industrial science and technology innovation system. They should also adhere to optimization of industrial structure, accelerate the revitalization and upgrading of traditional industries, strengthen new emerging industries to create new momentum, identify new paths for future industrial development, and take the lead in optimizing and upgrading industrial structure. Additionally, they should focus on intelligent development, vigorously develop the new generation of intelligent manufacturing, comprehensively promote green and low-carbon transformation, actively develop service-oriented manufacturing and productive service industries, and lead the way in forming new models of industrial intelligence, greenification, and integration. Strengthening the competitiveness of advanced manufacturing clusters, accelerating the high-quality development of science and technology industrial parks, nurturing and expanding a group of high-quality enterprises, and leading the construction of high-energy industrial carriers to build new advantages.
