State Grid Corporation: Electricity generation in the first half of 2026 increased by 6.25% year-on-year.

State Grid announced that in the first half of 2026, the company's consolidated statement of power generation completed 2189.11 billion kilowatt hours of power generation and 2078.75 billion kilowatt hours of grid-connected power, an increase of 6.25% and 6.17% respectively compared to the same period last year; the proportion of electricity traded in market transactions accounted for 94.2% of the grid-connected power; the average grid-connected electricity price was 393.31 yuan per kilowatt-hour. In the second quarter, the company completed 1129.27 billion kilowatt hours of power generation and 1074.49 billion kilowatt hours of grid-connected power, an increase of 6.73% and 6.53% respectively compared to the same period last year. As of June 30, the company's consolidated statement of holding installed capacity was 13029.12 million kilowatts, with an additional installed capacity of 234.21 million kilowatts in the second quarter.
