Ministry of Commerce spokesperson answers questions about the European Commission's fine on Alibaba Group.
According to the Securities Times APP, on July 22, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce responded to questions about the European Commission's fine on AliExpress, expressing strong dissatisfaction and serious concern. China has noticed the situation and firmly opposes the European side for setting up digital barriers and taking discriminatory measures under the guise of platform regulation, thereby restricting and pressuring Chinese e-commerce companies operating in Europe. China urges the European side to stop abusing its discretionary power under the pretext of the ambiguity of legal provisions, and to treat Chinese companies fairly and impartially. China will firmly support Chinese companies in using legal means to defend their rights and will take strong measures to safeguard their interests.
