According to Liaoning Daily, on July 22nd, the province's Ocean Economy Development Conference was held in Shenyang. Xie Kunlin, the Secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Xie Kunlin emphasized the need to adhere to the strategy of developing strong industries in the ocean and accelerate the construction of a modern ocean industry system. This includes deepening ocean fisheries, constructing modern ocean ranches, developing new production models such as deepwater net cages and aquaculture workboats, promoting deep processing and circulation of ocean products, strengthening brand building, enhancing the visibility and market competitiveness of specialty marine products. Strengthening the ocean manufacturing industry, accelerating the "intelligent transformation and digitalization", developing a blueprint for strengthening supply chains, and attracting chain-leading enterprises and supporting enterprises; focusing on key areas for continuous breakthroughs, speeding up the construction of high-tech shipbuilding and high-end marine equipment manufacturing bases; actively cultivating new industries such as marine drugs and biological products, marine new energy, and marine new materials, developing new formats like "ocean + low-altitude economy". Upgrading the marine service industry, vigorously developing modern marine services such as shipping logistics, finance and insurance, maritime law; overall promoting the development and utilization of resources in coastal lines, bay areas, islands, and seas, promoting integrated development of culture, tourism, sports, and business; planning and layout of the yacht industry, actively undertaking industrial scale expansion, and seizing the initiative for development.
