Samsung plans to invest 200 billion Korean won in South Korea to build an HVAC factory.
According to reports, industry insiders revealed that Samsung Electronics plans to build a new HVAC manufacturing factory at its complex in Gwangju, South Korea, aimed at accelerating the expansion of the company's central air conditioning business. The report stated that Samsung has recently submitted a construction permit application for the new facility at the Gwangju complex to the local government. The project is expected to invest approximately 200 billion Korean won to strengthen HVAC system production capacity, including cooling equipment for AI data centers.
