Standardizing the review of seasoning production permits, the General Administration of Market Supervision seeks public opinions.

In order to further standardize the review of seasoning production permits and adapt to the new situation of industry upgrading, technological innovation, and product iteration, and to strengthen the quality and safety defense line of seasonings, the State Administration for Market Regulation recently conducted thorough research and widely solicited opinions. Based on the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, Measures for the Administration of Food Production Licenses, and other laws, regulations, rules, and national food safety standards, the Administration has drafted the "Detailed Rules for the Review of Seasoning Production Permits" and officially opened it for public consultation from all sectors of society. The deadline for feedback is August 21, 2026.
