According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, today, the "Notice on Organizing the Construction of National Zero Carbon Factories" was officially released. China will organize the construction of national-level zero carbon factories and zero carbon computing power facilities. The construction of zero carbon factories refers to the continuous reduction of carbon dioxide emissions within the boundaries and gradually approaching near zero through measures such as technological innovation, structural adjustments, and management optimization. The notice specifies the requirements for applying for national-level zero carbon factories, selecting manufacturing enterprises and computing facilities that have a certain foundation for construction, clear construction goals, clear implementation paths, and commit to completing construction goals within a specified period of time, and prioritizing them for inclusion in the list of national-level zero carbon factory construction.
