Barclays: Lack of catalyst for recovery in government bond basis trading.

Barclays strategists Andres Mok and Amrut Nashikkar pointed out in a report that due to improved liquidity conditions and increased balance sheet capacity of traders, the basis trading in US Treasury bond futures has cooled down slightly, and the conditions for its recovery are not yet ripe.
