According to the State Grid, in the first half of the year, the company continued to optimize the development layout of the power grid, accelerated the construction of power grids at all levels, and completed the Shaanxi-North Anhui 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current transmission project, 168 key projects for peak load in summer, and other projects. The company started construction of 24,285 kilometers of new 110 kV and above alternating current lines, and put into operation 26,802 kilometers of 110 kV and above alternating current lines, laying a solid foundation for ensuring reliable power supply and promoting green and low-carbon energy transition. In the first half of the year, construction began on ultra-high voltage projects such as Panxi, Zhejiang ring network, and Phase II of Nanyang Power Plant, and progress is being made on 15 ultra-high voltage projects such as Gansu-Zhejiang, Mengxi-Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Aba-Chengdu East, Datong-Tianjin South, and others. Currently, the company has completed and put into operation 43 ultra-high voltage projects, with a cross-regional and cross-provincial transmission capacity exceeding 3.8 billion kilowatts, forming a backbone network of ultra-high voltage alternating current in East, North, Central, and Southwest China. It has deeply integrated the new generation scheduling control system with the electricity market trading platform, providing physical channels and operational support for inter-provincial medium and long-term as well as spot transactions.
