According to reports from the financial app Zhitong Finance, Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.US) has begun discussions with customers to increase chip manufacturing prices by up to 10% in 2027 to cover rising production costs. As the main chip foundry supplier for Nvidia (NVDA.US) and Apple (AAPL.US), Taiwan Semiconductor started negotiations in June and finalized a price increase plan this month, ranging from 5% to 10%. These price adjustments will take effect next year and cover both advanced process chips and mature process chips.
