On July 18th, at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, the report "Crossing the Singularity: How World Models Reshape the Industry and Business New Paradigm of Embodied Intelligence" released by KPMG mentioned that although there is no unified definition of world models, there is a gradually consistent understanding about their capabilities boundaries, that is, world models should be able to learn environmental laws, predict future states, deduce the impact of actions, and serve the planning and decision-making of intelligent agents. The competition of world models will not only be reflected in model parameters and generation effects, but also in data pipelines, simulation environments, evaluation frameworks, training tools, and interface standards.
