Suzhou's first nationwide initiative: delivery riders are not counted towards the delivery time when waiting at red lights.

It was learned from the Suzhou Public Security Traffic Management Department that Suzhou has pioneered a heartwarming new traffic management initiative nationwide, officially incorporating the waiting time for traffic lights at intersections for food delivery riders into the delivery timing system, allowing riders to "wait for" red lights and further cultivate the habit of safe and civilized travel. This new policy will be launched as a pilot program in the Gusu District and Suzhou Industrial Park in early August this year.
