The National Development and Reform Commission has arranged 30 million yuan of central budget investment to support the emergency recovery of Chongqing's mountain collapse disaster.

On July 17th, a mountain collapse occurred in Pengshui County, Chongqing, causing many people to be buried and missing. The National Committee for Disaster Reduction and Relief has activated the national level four disaster relief emergency response. To implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the mountain collapse in Pengshui County, Chongqing, and in accordance with the "National Emergency Plan for Natural Disaster Relief", the National Development and Reform Commission has allocated 30 million yuan from the central budget to support the emergency recovery and construction of basic infrastructure and public service facilities in the disaster area.
