China Council for the Promotion of International Trade releases statement on the invitation of participating representatives for the 2026 APEC Business Leaders' Summit.
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) announced that the APEC CEO Summit 2026 will be held in November in Shenzhen. Recently, the China International Trade Promotion Committee found that some organizations and individuals have been impersonating the CCPIT and its affiliated China Chamber of International Commerce, conducting unauthorized recruitment for delegates and soliciting registration fees and personal information through WeChat, text messages, emails, etc., to make illegal profits.
The CCPIT solemnly declares that it has not authorized any organization or individual to carry out the recruitment and charging for delegates of this summit. The invitation of delegates for this summit will be directly implemented by the CCPIT, and relevant registration and arrangements will be announced only through the official website of the summit and the official website of the CCPIT.
Please be cautious in identifying any invitation, agency registration, and fee information that is not officially announced through the above channels. Any losses caused by trusting unofficial information will be the responsibility of the information provider and related parties, and the organizers will not be held responsible.
The CCPIT reserves the right to legally pursue organizations and individuals who impersonate the CCPIT or falsely claim to be acting on behalf of the organization, engaging in false advertising and illegal profiteering.
