Former member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Province Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, Wang Qiang, is under investigation for disciplinary violations.

According to the Guangdong Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Wang Qiang, former member of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law. He has taken the initiative to turn himself in and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Guangdong Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
