The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Hong Kong from April to June was 3.7%, with an underemployment rate that increased by 0.1 percentage points.

According to the latest labor force statistics released by the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department on July 17, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for the period April to June 2026 was 3.7%, the same as the figure for March to May 2026. The underemployment rate, however, rose from 1.5% in March to May 2026 to 1.6% in April to June 2026.
