The first plenary meeting of the National Quality Power Construction Expert Advisory Committee was held in Beijing.

The meeting pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to quality work, emphasizing the need to "always adhere to quality first, priority to efficiency, vigorously enhance quality awareness, regard quality as life, and pursue high quality," which has indicated the direction for building a strong country in quality and provided fundamental guidance. The establishment of the National Expert Advisory Committee on Building a Strong Country in Quality is an important measure to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the decisions of the Party's 20th Central Committee, and promote the implementation of the "Outline of Building a Strong Country in Quality." It is a systematic arrangement to improve the mechanism for promoting the construction of a strong country in quality and to mobilize high-level intellectual support, which is of great significance for improving the level of planning for building a strong country in quality, addressing complex issues in quality development, and creating a pattern of quality co-governance. The meeting emphasized that the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China made clear arrangements for accelerating the construction of a strong country in quality. The "14th Five-Year Plan" period is a critical stage for building a strong country in quality, and the expert advisory committee should closely follow the requirements of the plenary session, plan quality in a comprehensive manner, study quality in the long term, conduct in-depth investigations and studies on key tasks, develop quality theories, actively provide suggestions and proposals, engage in extensive communication and exchanges, and provide strong support for the realization of the medium and long-term goals of building a strong country in quality by 2035.
