Italian Genoa highway bridge collapse case sentenced nearly 8 years later

On the 16th, a court in Genoa, Italy, issued a first-instance verdict on the 2018 Genoa highway bridge collapse case, sentencing 32 people guilty. The former head of the operator of the highway bridge, the Italian motorway company, Giovanni Castellucci, was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
