From July 25th to 29th, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Bureau of Statistics will hold a series of activities in the field of data during APEC Digital Week in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The APEC Digital Week data field series of activities focus on the theme of "Data Promoting Growth" and include 2 conference events and 4 themed visits. On the morning of the 25th, the "APEC Data Promoting Growth High-Level Roundtable Meeting" will be held, where ministers from various APEC economies and high-level representatives from international organizations will engage in discussions on how to better unleash the value of data, promote innovative development and industrial upgrading, and drive the digital transformation of the economy and society through data policy dialogues to enhance data trust and promote rule alignment. In the afternoon of the same day, the "APEC Data and Artificial Intelligence Promote Industrial Development Special Seminar" will be held, where representatives from various sectors such as APEC member economies' governments, international organizations, enterprises, research institutions, and think tanks will engage in open discussions on topics such as innovative development of data and artificial intelligence, and how data and artificial intelligence technologies empower productive services in sectors such as logistics.
