SpaceX's 13th Starship test flight was automatically aborted due to engine failure, causing the stock price to drop after hours.
SpaceX announced that it plans to attempt to launch the Starship rocket again in the coming days after the mission was aborted on Thursday due to some engines failing to ignite. Following the news, SpaceX's stock price dropped. The "Starship" was originally scheduled to launch at 5:45 pm local time from SpaceX's interstellar launch site in southern Texas for its 13th major test mission. However, thick smoke was seen coming from the launch tower at the scheduled time, and the rocket did not lift off. SpaceX's stock price fell during regular trading on Thursday and further decreased by about 3% after hours. The stock had experienced a significant increase after its initial public offering, but has recently seen a decline. Despite this, Wall Street analysts generally maintain a bullish stance.
