DJI Smart Map Surveying and Mapping Everest Khumbu Glacier Succeeded in Achieving Centimeter-Level 3D Reconstruction for the First Time

Journalists have learned from DJI that DJI's industrial application has partnered with the Nepalese Airlift Technology team to complete the centimeter-level three-dimensional reconstruction of the core area of the Khumbu Glacier on the southern slope of Mount Everest, covering an area of over 3 square kilometers, using Matrice 4E and DJI Smart Map. The entire process took 3.5 hours, marking the first time that the core area of the Khumbu Glacier has achieved cm-level precision full coverage modeling.
