The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, He Yadong, introduced at a regular press conference on the 16th that China is the main importing country of helium gas, in order to safeguard domestic supply, the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs jointly issued a notice, deciding to temporarily prohibit the export of helium gas. "This measure is in line with the relevant provisions of the Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China and the rules of the World Trade Organization. In the future, we will adjust the export management policy according to changes in supply and demand of helium gas at home and abroad," said He Yadong.
