According to South Korean media reports, SK Hynix raised a whopping 40 trillion Korean won (approximately $30.76 billion) through its listing on the Nasdaq market in the United States, aiming to consolidate its leadership position in the artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor market. The CEO of global AI chip market leader NVIDIA (NVDA.O), Huang Renxun, warmly congratulated the listing. According to industry sources, Huang Renxun expressed extreme joy and called SK Hynix's American depositary receipt (ADR) listing "extremely successful" after attending an event in Tokyo, Japan on July 16.
