At the press conference held by the State Council Information Office yesterday, officials from the National Bureau of Statistics stated that although fluctuations in international commodity prices may cause some disturbance to domestic prices, the Chinese economy has strong resilience and the policy system to ensure stable supply and prices is effective. In the second half of the year, the moderate upward trend in prices will continue.
