Southern Airlines announced that in June 2026, passenger transport capacity decreased by 1.18% year-on-year, with domestic and regional capacities decreasing by 3.99% and 5.76% respectively, while international capacity increased by 6.84%. Passenger traffic volume decreased by 2.48% year-on-year, with a passenger load factor of 84.03%, a decrease of 1.13 percentage points. Cargo transport capacity decreased by 3.07% year-on-year, with cargo and mail traffic volume decreasing by 2.18%. The cargo and mail load factor was 55.40%, an increase of 0.51 percentage points. In June, two major routes were added, 8 aircraft were introduced, and 4 aircraft were retired, bringing the total number of operating transport aircraft to 973 by the end of June.
