The Deputy Director of the National Medical Products Administration, Yang Sheng, attended the launch meeting of the National Key Research and Development Program for improving the quality standards of traditional Chinese medicinal materials.

On July 13th, the kick-off meeting of the project "Key Technology Demonstration Research on the Improvement of Quality Standards of Ethnic Medicinal Materials" under the National Key Research and Development Program "Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine" for the year 2025, undertaken by the China National Institutes for Food and Drug Control, was held in Beijing. Yang Sheng, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the National Medical Products Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting emphasized the need to base the development of rigorous and scientific standards on the actual use of medicine in ethnic areas, taking into account the differences in production areas, and to facilitate the transformation of research results, deepen cross-regional cooperation, strengthen talent training, strictly adhere to research integrity and quality standards, empower the high-quality development of the industry with the project results, and enhance the sense of achievement of the people in ethnic areas.
