The comprehensive restoration of two-way navigation has been fully resumed in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

According to the Yangtze River Maritime Bureau, starting at 8 o'clock today, as the impact of Typhoon "Bavi" on the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River has basically ended, temporary traffic control on the Hubei Ezhou to Anhui Ma'anshan section of the Yangtze River main channel has been simultaneously lifted, and two-way navigation on the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River has been fully restored. During this typhoon period, a total of more than 4,700 vessels were guided by the Yangtze River Maritime Department to anchorages, berths, and sheltered anchorages along the Yangtze River at 82 locations, while nearly 700 small vessels, non-powered vessels, and vessels on long-term mooring were guided to sheltered waters with good wind conditions such as tributaries and river branches, and 830 vessels were guided to waters above Wuhan. Throughout the entire control period, there were no ship mishaps or safety accidents.
