"Made in China" meets global demands, China's export growth rate has continued to increase for 11 consecutive quarters.
The State Council Information Office held a press conference today to introduce the operation of China's foreign trade this year. Since the beginning of this year, China's export growth rate has exceeded 10%, maintaining growth for 11 consecutive quarters. The fundamental reason for the growth of exports lies in the precise adaptation of "Made in China" to various global demands. This can be seen from the following four aspects: First, according to United Nations reports, global growth in goods trade this year has mainly focused on artificial intelligence-related fields. The continuous expansion of global computing power, data centers, and terminal equipment demand has promoted the export of related products from China. In the first half of the year, exports of electronic components, computer parts, and other products all grew by double digits, collectively driving export growth by 6.9 percentage points; exports of intelligent bionic robots deeply integrated with AI technology exceeded 10,000 units, reaching over 90 countries and regions worldwide. Second, currently, global green and low-carbon transformation is deepening, and the compatibility between the rising construction of new energy sources, increased consumption demand, and China's green products is high. In the first half of the year, the exports of green energy-related products such as lithium batteries and wind turbine generators from China grew by 37.6% and 35.6%, respectively; exports of green travel products such as electric cars, railway electric locomotives, electric motorcycles, and bicycles grew by 68.7%, 45.1%, and 31.5%, respectively. Third, in the first half of this year, China's exports of specialized equipment, ships, and marine engineering equipment reached 540.24 billion and 214.99 billion yuan, respectively, with growth rates of 24.4% and 19.9%. From intelligent excavators to heavy-duty gas turbines, and offshore operation platforms, batches of Chinese equipment have played a key role in major projects in various countries. "Made in China" has provided optimal solutions for different countries and regions, and different application scenarios. Fourth, the Middle East situation was tense in the first half of the year, and global chemical supply was tight. China, with its complete industrial system and full-chain support capabilities, quickly met the sudden external demand. In the first half of the year, exports of basic organic chemicals and primary shape plastics from China increased by 25.1% and 35%, respectively, meeting the needs of enterprise production and ensuring the stability of related production supply chains. China's stable supply chain is becoming a key hub for connecting cooperation and win-win situations around the world. We will continue to meet the needs of the world with what China can offer, injecting more certainty into global economic and trade cooperation and unleashing stronger new momentum.
