In June, with the start of the college graduation season, the demand for rental housing in the national market accelerated. Monitoring data from the China Index Research Institute shows that the average rent for residential properties in 50 cities has stopped falling and started to rise after two consecutive months of slight adjustments, further clarifying the market's recovery trend. In particular, the rental prices of residential properties in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen have been rising for four consecutive months, with Shanghai leading the way in terms of the magnitude of increase. According to the China Index Institute's 50-city residential rental price index, in June, the average rent for residential properties in 50 cities was 33.97 yuan per square meter per month, ending two consecutive months of slight adjustments with an increase of 0.08% compared to the previous month; a decrease of 2.82% compared to the same period last year, narrowing by 0.35 percentage points from May. In June, the housing rental demand peaked during the college graduation season, leading to a noticeable increase in activity in the rental housing market in key cities, and subsequently, owners' listing prices also began to recover.
