The size of technology ETFs increased by over 200 billion yuan this year, with total assets surpassing 540 billion yuan.

According to estimates by UBS Securities, as of June 29, 2026, the total size of all A-share industry and theme ETFs has increased from 469.4 billion yuan at the end of August 2024 to 130.75 billion yuan. Among them, the size of industry and theme ETFs focusing on technology reached approximately 541.5 billion yuan, an increase of about 208.7 billion yuan from the end of 2025. In addition, as of the end of the first quarter of 2026, the proportion of actively managed equity mutual funds in the technology sector reached 11.4% of all actively managed equity mutual funds, reaching a historical peak.
