Kuwait claims border posts and drilling platforms were attacked.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense reported on the evening of July 12th local time about the attacks that day. The announcement showed that three land border outposts in northern Kuwait were attacked, with some facilities damaged; a sea drilling platform of the Kuwait National Petroleum Company was attacked by drones, injuring a worker and causing damage to facilities. The Kuwaiti military did not mention any attacks on US military bases or facilities in the announcement. The Iranian military had previously issued a statement saying that earlier in the day, they had deployed attack drones to launch retaliatory strikes on the "Patriot" missile defense system, ammunition depot, and radar station belonging to the US military in Kuwait.
